issues with GLWindow on XFCE (Linux Mint)

ac
Some Processing users reported a couple of issues when running the latest version (which uses JOGL 2.3.2) on Linux Mint  17 (XFCE as window manager):

* GLWindow.setSize(w, h) does not seem to work

* Special characters are incorrectly displayed in the title of the GLWindow.

(more details at https://github.com/processing/processing/issues/4129)

These look to me as upstream bugs, any comments?

Thanks!
Andres

See Bug 1251
  <https://jogamp.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1251>

Debian 8 +
  - xfce 4.10.1
  - xfce4-goodies 4.10
    which includes:
    - xfdesktop4 4.10.2-3
    - .. and a bunch of stuff

.. using all default settings

.. using Mesa3D software rendering.

worked for me ..

Hence, yes, I assume an upstream issue as well.
