Applet regression on Window (Chrome/FF) in between [signed] [master] builds 803 (ok) - 825 (failure)

I found an Applet regression on
  Window7 64bbit w/
    Java6 (latest)
    Chrome (latest) and FF (latest)

in between [signed] [master] builds
  803 (ok) - 825 (failure)

Amusingly it works w/ Safari and IE,
which hints that the new EGL/ES initialization code crashed the JVM.

I will investigate this further soon ..
