Since I have limited access to all OSX versions, i.e. no OSX 10.8,
and many changes happend in this area lately,
please test w/ latest tip.
If you still see failures or a 'invalid drawable' message,
please help and follow comment 2.

I will reply to this thread when an automatic build is completed
and aggregated using latest changes.
