Pardon me, it seems the issue was thread related XD
But now I'm faced with a black screen.. printing out some debug on the texures I'm trying to draw, doesn't look like I've got any actual texture data?
TextureSequence = GlMediaPlayer.getNextTexture( GL )
TextureSequence.Textureframe toString = TextureFrame[pts 41 ms, l 41 ms, texID 4]
Texture ( sequence.getTexture ) toString = Texture[target 0xde1, name 4, 416/672 x 240/240, y-flip true, 0 bytes]
