Added blog entry with a few more links
<https://jausoft.com/blog/2019/11/30/jogamp-2-4-0-release-feature-freeze-complete/> I like to use this opportunity to emphasize our work priorities here, which might help explaining the delay or reduced 'public visibility'. +++ Commercial Support Requests Commercial support requests are very welcome, allowing Göthel Software e.K. <https://jausoft.com/>, our little family shop, to continue supporting the project. Whether your company desires - realization of new features or new platforms to be supported, - continuing maturity and bug fixes, - supporting you in adopting JogAmp and/or Java(tm)’ish technology on Embedded/Mobile, Desktop or Cloud, - supporting your project and its QA, Process & Lifecycle in general we would be glad to hear from you, as it will allow us to continue our endeavors[1] enabling high performance (hardware) features across platforms & devices[2]. Hello
Thank you for the great job :D If I understand your reply in the following bug report, it should be marked as resolved because JOGL already works as is: https://jogamp.org/bugzilla//show_bug.cgi?id=1312 When a release candidate is available at least in the JogAmp Maven repository, I'll use it to implement OpenJFX support in JogAmp's Ardor3D Continuation.

I will try to complete this as I also see it as important to ensure that we don't leave resources referenced and occupied longer than required. But .. I can also leave some issues open for a subsequent release. > > When a release candidate is available at least in the JogAmp Maven repository, > I'll use it to implement OpenJFX support in JogAmp's Ardor3D Continuation. > Julien Gouesse | Personal blog <http://gouessej.wordpress.com> | Website > <http://tuer.sourceforge.net> Great, yes. Then finally out new Java3D collab can also bear its new fruits. Hello Phillip ;-) Cheers, Sven |

Bottom lines: - Regardless, it shall be completed when time allows within this year. - Looking for sponsorship to realize future JogAmp goals <https://jogamp.org/wiki/index.php?title=SW_Tracking_Report_Feature_Objectives_Overview>. I understand everyone is busy. Any updates on availability of a 2.4 release? Thanks.

Hi Sven, Did you try to approach NUMFOCUS ? I am in touch with an active member of the board (Sylvain Corlay, CEO of QuantStack), maybe I can ask if NUMFOCUS could sponsor joAmp ? S. |
