License, Authorship and Real World Identity

License, Authorship and Real World Identity

For legal reasons, a content provider (Wiki, source code, ..)
must use her/his real name (account).

In case of questioning the license of the content,
one would need to identify the author of it and verify
whether it's free of other claims etc.

This is true for all 'projects' and is unrelated to the actual license.

I had this discussion w/ the 'Apache Foundation'
and w/ 'Siemens Energy Department' regarding the validity of our license.

I already use my full name on Github and Sourceforge. Do I have to do anything else?

Our new member 'olamedia' reminded me of making this statement (again).
It's not about you, all core members do use proper names in commits etc.
