Rspberry Pi 2 Armv7 support

graham sandersin
I'm looking to run JOGL on PI 2 - I don't see an armv7 build. happy to try to make one but wasn't sure if there was one out there
the armv6 libs do not load - maybe that is my bad.

Hi

Have you tried to use the build for armv6hf? Maybe Xerxes can help you as he owns a Raspberry Pi too. Feel free to contact him on our IRC channel.

I will try armv6hf though I had heard those were not compatible with armv7... silly not to check myself though

Thanks for your help - yes it does indeed run... I haven't had much of a chance to play with it since, I need to figure out the coordinate system (and the "second" mouse pointer)... not sure what that mouse pointer is, but if you move it off the screen, then things just go ape-shit insane (wavy colors all over the screen like bad reception on an old analog TV).

Maybe I screwed something up, but it sounds like something someone would have noticed if it happened on previous pi - I wish I hadn't given mine away :-(

Also the separation of JOGL windows from X windows is a bit confusing (I'm sure there are technical reasons)... do most people go full screen, or has someone knocked up some window decorations?

What do you mean in your very last sentence about the separation?
