VolumeViewer upgraded to use JSR 231

Just wanted to drop a line that the VolumeViewer app listed in http://jogamp.org/jogl/www/ has been updated to use the latest version of JOGL.

When trying to run http://volumeviewer.kenai.com/volumeViewer.jnlp the app does not start because it misses gai_imageio.jar

I just tried it (Linux x64, proprietary JRE 1.6.0_31) .. works great.

It works fine here too but I had already used this application several times on my machine.

For me it failed on both linux ubuntu 32 bits and windows 7 64 bits.

jai_imageio.jar is mentionned in the JNLP file and is present on the server. Why do you say it is missing?

When I tried it this morning, the progress monitor was blocked on jai_imageio.
Now no jar at all can be downloaded, from my ubuntu and my windows machine as well:
