jogl tutorials

What'd be recommended reading for a jogl/opengl beginner? All of the tutorials/guides/whatever I've managed to google up is either outdated or very outdated. Even the demoes that I tried on the site cannot be run cause of out-dated credential or something along the line.

I found this pretty good in explaining modern OpenGL:
