JOGL just uses 1.3 for CDC and 1.5 for desktop ..

A user may choose whatever is available, sure.

We have to reevaluate the source level when we have done our
mobile/embedded device evaluation done,
ie have our mind set what we should support.
Until then it would would be a pity to remove the 1.3 compatibility.
