hell no :)
FOr example a user may implement whatever, ie GLAnimatorControl in a language level she wants,
which for sure must be compatible with 1.3 - which 1.5 is.

I am curious about this, sure.
Let's discuss these things.
For sure this is not restricted to the Java level, I see these things orthogonal.
If you know a better threading sync/lock strategy for some code path
we can implement this.
Again: Jogl's implementation, ie choice of language level is not and shall not imply
any constraints for he user - the contrary should be true.
Once we lift the level to eg 1.5 all 1.3/1.4 users would be left behind,
so we have to wait until our mobile port is 'reloaded'.
