Thank you Rodrigo - so it's still the same error:
java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: .. libjogl_desktop.jnilib: Symbol not found: _OBJC_CLASS_$_NSOpenGLLayer
too bad, the weak linkage didn't help
now I need to find at least ssh access to a 10.5.* os x machine to fix and test it,
if anybody volunteers .. ?
