Tried myself implementing Monkey3 JOGL ES by copy-pasting Android ES with small modifications.. and basic things seems to work
quite nicely now.. even on Raspberry PI + OpenJDK 7 CubeField seems to run with acceptable framerate..  same input issues as with libGDX thought..
