Separation of symbols (enum + func) into GL profile
follows the strategy of pushing them as low (super)
as long the target profiles share extensions.

This implies 'renaming extensions into core',
hence you see the 'Part of' and 'Alias for' tags
in the api-doc.

This reduces duplicates, and allows reusing the
subsumed / renamed extensions by supported target profiles.
