Sorry for double posting, I just came by to say thank you again for this. We've been very busy with other stuff, especially now that it's possible to integrate our content within our JavaFX perspective (we have several perspectives, other than JFX). It's been overall helpful, and even though the FPS and memory usage issues haven't been addressed yet, it allows us to rapidly move forward with stuff that got bottle-necked.
I'll make a post at SO and other sites stating this as a solution, some time during the weekend.
