First off, my apologies for the lack of time/energy to steward this project. I think at this point if I can't find the time to properly evaluate your changes, I may just pull them as-is to get some movement here, while I'm not totally comfortable with Maven, I think I can live with it as long as someone else is there to review build changes.

So, poke me in a week or so if nothing has changed in my repos, and I will merge your request as is at that point.
