GLE Tubing and Extrusion builds the mesh and displays them with OpenGL. In my humble opinion, you would waste a lot less time in porting the code to Java rather than making a binding to this library, it depends on your skills.

Its source code is under GPL v2 which makes it legally unsuitable for a commercial proprietary software.
