I admit, the sentence is far from being elegant.

'for building the to be distributed artifacts'

so 'to be distributed artifacts' act as _the_ subject here,
I used _the_ upon (I am afraid my language doesn't get better now :)

Will split the sentence later on..

'for build artifacts which might get distributed'
