maven-javadoc-plugin 3.2.0 contains a fix that will allow me to build the engine and generate the Java documentation with Java >= 11. I compiled maven-javadoc-plugin 3.2.0-SNAPSHOT to ensure that it really helps. I'll use "release", JogAmp's Ardor3D Continuation will go on supporting Java 1.8 but it will become impossible to build it with Java 1.8 very soon, I'm just waiting for the release of maven-javadoc-plugin 3.2.0 to make the necessary changes. However, I might have to drop Java 8 support to ease future proof OpenJFX/JavaFX integration.

I'll switch to JOGL 2.4.0 as soon as it's available for Maven (on Maven Central or on our JogAmp repository).
