Rendering on two monitors parallelly

Hi,

I am going to display continuous images on two monitors parallelly. I have a CPU with two cores. Which one is better(especially performance) if
1. Two Java applications using JOGL 1.1.1a
2. Application/applicatoins using JOGL 2.0
